NYS Sends At Least 8 000 Recruits As Pass-Out Parade Delayed

At least 8 000 National Youth Service (NYS) recruits have reportedly been sent home after their pass-out parade was delayed.

According to The Standard, the recruits were sent home on Thursday, following reports that there was no money to fund the pass-out parade ceremony.

The event, the report said, had been delayed by five months.

The recruits had been at the training camp for 11 months.
