Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has urged African nations to seriously address the issue of lingering youth unemployment.
According to a Naij report, Obasanjo warned African leaders to take his utterances seriously due to violence being a possible outcome of a lack of jobs in various countries across the continent.
“On the issue of unemployment, particularly youth unemployment, I have maintained that all of us in West Africa, in our different countries and indeed in Africa, we are sitting on a keg of gun powder for as long as we do not pay adequate attention to youth unemployment,” Obasanjo stated.
According to Obasanjo, who has been appointed as special envoy of ECOWAS to Guinea-Bassou, the expectations of countries belonging to the body are not yet being met.
“So the attention that we should have paid to the original objectives which is economic integration, economic development, socio economic, economic progress, we have been diverted.
“Of course peace and security is the foundation of any socio-economic development and growth. Of necessity we have to pay attention to base on security,” Obasanjo said, Nigeria Today reports.
Obasanjo is a fool and a hypocrite. It is Obasanjo that destroyed the unity and oneness of that country called Nigeria.
Is it not Obasanjo that single handedly destroyed the economy of Nigeria, and created the mess Nigeria found itself into.

=> How much money did he steal from the Federal Government Treasury?
Obasanjo should please shut up.
