Tiwa Savage’s latest single, ‘One’ is a perfect way to end what has been an amazing year for the singer and she has now revealed that the song was a gift written by the upcoming talent, Wale Turner.
On Thursday, November 15, Tiwa Savage shared her new single, ‘One’, the emotional record that has the singer showing gratitude for all that has come her way this year became an instant favourite among her fans.
The Mavin diva has however taken to her Instagram page to reveal the identity of the person who wrote the song. In a message shared late on Sunday, November 18, Tiwa posted, ”waleturner thank you for blessing me with this song.”

The young artist also responded through a message on his personal page thanking her for the opportunity provided.

This is a commendable move from the established act, especially in an industry where songwriting is almost regarded as an ‘anathema’ that cannot be openly discussed or acknowledged.
It will be recalled that almost at the same time last year, singer Teni had revealed on her Twitter page that she was one of the writer for Davido’s ‘Like Dat’ which generated a lot of divided reactions online.
Wale Turner has in the past released his own singles like, 2sekon featuring Reminisce and ‘Awa Noni.’
