Abuja – As the Niger Delta Avengers struck once more, exploding the Nigerian National Oil Firm, NNPC pipe at Eleme, Rivers State, Head of state Muhammadu Buhari firmly insisted that Nigeria’s unity was not flexible.

He also urged any looters of the nation’s treasury to return funds stolen for peace to reign in the country, saying that the Federal Government would not stop until all the funds were returned.

The Avengers have now claimed the FG is negotiating with fraudsters and have distanced themselves from the recent attacks in the South-West.

Buhari while speaking during his sallah message said that keeping Nigeria united as one entity is a task that must be done.

News24 Nigeria reported that President Buhari has yet again pleaded for patience from Nigerians in the face of the harsh economic realities while promising a better future for all. He said that he was fully aware of the hardships faced by Nigerians and said that he deeply sympathized with their plight.

Buhari also pleaded with militants to “give Nigeria a chance”, vowing to keep the country intact despite widespread ethnic and religious divisions that threaten unity.
