The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State has disowned the Group Managing Director of Energy Group, Jmoh Ibrahim, reports Daily Post
The party in the state said Ibrahim was not a member of the party.
Jimoh picked the nomination form to contest the November 26, 2016 governorship election in the state from the factional National Chairman of the party, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff in Abuja on Thursday, reports News 24
Ibrahim by the move, became the first aspirant to pick the form.
But the Ondo PDP is insisting that the businessman is a member of the Accord Party in the state and not a member of the PDP as he claimed.
The Director of Media and Publicity of the PDP in the state, Ayo Fadaka stated that since Ibrahim has been rid of his membership, he cannot claim to be a bonafide member of the party.
Fadaka noted that the party does not have any relationship with Ibrahim and so could not have picked its governorship nomination form to contest under its banner.
