Nigeria: Former Minister denies joining APC

The former Minister of Interior and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the last governorship election in Imo State,  Emmanuel Ihenacho has denied joining the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports NewsDay

He said he does not have any intention of joining the APC now or in the future.

Ihenacho’s denial follows false claims and insinuations by APC loyalists in the state that he had joined the ruling party.

The former Minister in statement through his media aide, Emperor Iwuala, said he has not seen any reason for him to jpin the APC.

Ihenacho, a former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) member defected to APGA when he failed to secure the PDP’ governorship ticket.

Ihenacho served as a Minister under the immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan.
