A former MP has died at a Kericho Hospital after a short illness.
Godfrey Masanya was a former MP of North Mugirango and died after suffering from hypertension, MPs from Gusii land told News24.
” We have seen his body. We can confirm. He was a good man. Condolences to his family and former constituents,” Borabu MP Ben Momanyi told News24 on phone.
Masanya was 74. He died Sunday night.
He was a close ally of former cabinet minister Simeon Nyachae and a part of the Ford People Party.
