Morocco’s COVID-19 Tally Rises To 456,334 With 1,279 New Cases

Morocco’s COVID-19 tally rose to 456,334 on Thursday as 1,279 new cases were registered during the past 24 hours.

 

The Moroccan Ministry of Health said that the death toll from the coronavirus in the kingdom climbed to 7,854 as 44 more COVID-19 patients died in the last 24 hours.

 

The total number of recoveries from COVID-19 in Morocco increased to 431,167 after 1,110 new ones were added, while 1,889 people were treated in intensive care units, the ministry said in a statement.

 

The COVID-19 fatality rate in Morocco stands at 1.7 percent while the recovery rate is 94.5 percent.
