According to Netflix’s official teaser, famous rapper Megan Thee Stallion has joined the cast of the Emmy-winning cartoon comedy “Big Mouth” in its seventh season.
Big Mouth was inspired by co-creators and executive producers Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg’s childhoods. On the episode, Megan will be the voice of a Hormone Monster, an essential monster that helps humans get through puberty. Her character is shown as a slender being with horns and long, flowing hair.
“Aw, s**t, booty fatter than a pear, your hormone monstress Megan is here,” the “Savage” rapper said in the trailer as she slid down a giant tongue, according to HipHopDX.
In a newer clip, the streamer released the official season premiere date as Megan remarked, “I ain’t gon’ lie. It’s getting real sexy,” which caused another monster to reply, “It’s going to be even sexier on Oct. 20.”
A group of pals and their hormone monsters navigate adolescence, human sexuality, and coming of age in the comedy. Season 7 will follow the now-adolescent Bridgeton middle school students as they graduate to high school and meet new friends, foes, and Hormone Monsters.
According to Netflix, the new season will also feature the voices of many celebrities, including Lupita Nyong’o, Stephanie Beatriz, Zazie Beetz, Padma Lakshmi, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Billy Porter, Rosie Perez, Brian Tyree Henry, Zach Galifianakis, Randall Park, Chloe Fineman, Beck Bennett, Zach Woods, Mark Duplass, Thandiwe Newton, Paul Scheer, and Brandon Kyle Goodman.
According to Deadline, Big Mouth has been renewed for an eighth and final season, making it Netflix’s longest-running scripted original series outside of Kids & Family programming.
According to Vibe, the rapper has previously proven her acting skills in films such as D**ks: The Musical, Starz’s P-Valley, and She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. She also hosted Saturday Night Live in October of last year, portraying roles such as a nurse at the Hot Girl Hospital, a booty-building fitness instructor, and others.
