A man has been arrested on a charge of kidnapping after it was found that he had restrained a young girl in a restaurant bathroom and choked her until she passed out.
According to World Wide Weird News, Reese Hartstirn (33) has been charged with aggravated kidnapping of a child, aggravated battery of a child, battery causing bodily harm and aggravated assault of a peace officer after he was accused by the girl’s mother, who was waiting for her outside of the bathroom where she was being held.
According to police, the girl was inside the bathroom when her mother heard her screams from outside the bathroom at Jason’s Deli in Illinois.
When the mother entered the bathroom to check up on her daughter, she found Hartstirn choking the child and attempting to lock her in the stall, Channel 2 has reported.
Hartstirn has since been booked into the Central District police station, where he is currently being held without bail.
