Limpopo ANC Youth League disbanded again

(File, ANC)
Polokwane – A national task team has disbanded the two-month-old ANC Youth League in Limpopo, it was announced on Sunday evening.

The ANC task team, led by Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula – a former youth league leader – and Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa, announced the decision in Polokwane during a youth league provincial general council meeting in Polokwane.

New leaders for the ANCYL in Limpopo were elected just two months ago, but the results of the Karibu congress is being contested in court.

Mthethwa and Mbalula told delegates that, while there was commitment to rebuild the league, it was also the time to suspend the services of the league’s PEC until the court case was finalised.
