Kisauni Gangs Using Toy Pistols To Threaten Residents.

Police in Kisauni have unmasked a syndicate of criminals who are using toy pistols to rob people.

According to the Kisauni police boss Richard Ngatia, in few past days many people have complained about a gang of four to five men who have been using toy pistols to threaten local residents.

Speaking at the Bamburi police station on Wednesday, Ngatia said police have already apprehended three of the main suspects who operate in Shanzu, Bamburi and Kiembeni areas for interrogation.

“We will not relent in this fight. We will take these criminals head on. Kisauni cannot be like a criminal den,” charged the OCPD.

He said that police officers have been battling criminals in Kisauni since January and that security agents will not spare anyone interfering with the calm in the sub-County.

“Very young people are involved in these criminal activities, but we will not spare anyone nonetheless,” insisted Ngatia.

The police boss cautioned parents in Kisauni to be very watchful of their children and take control of their families.

Ngatia blamed parents in the area for protecting their children even after discovering that they were indulging in criminal activities.

Recently, illegal outfits among them Wakali Kwanza, Wakali Wao, The Spanish, Gaza and Kapenguria six have mushroomed in Mombasa, but the Mombasa County Commissioner Evans Achoki has already urged Police officer to fight the gangs fearlessly.
