Kenyan Shilling Under Pressure From Precautionary Buying

The Kenyan shilling was under pressure against the dollar on Friday due to precautionary buying in case markets open high on Monday with political uncertainty making it hard to predict the price direction, traders said.

At 0834 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 103.60/80 per dollar, compared with 103.50/70 at Thursday’s close.
