Anti-terror police officers have arrested two suspected Al-Shabaab operatives in Isiolo town and recovered bomb making materials from them.
The two are alleged to have recruited youths to join the Somalia-based terror group.
According to sources, the suspects were arrested in their terror cell safe house which they were using to make bombs and other improvised explosive devices.
It also acts as a recruitment centre for youths joining the terror outfit.
The arrest comes days after CID director Ndegwa Muhoro deployed more intelligence officers and opened Anti-Terror Police Unit (ATPU) offices in Isiolo.
