Governor Kabogo has apologized to Deputy President William Samoei Ruto over presidential bid remarks.
The Governor had accompanied the DP during his tour in the Rift Valley where he said that the controversial sentiments linked to him over backing Ruto in 2022 were misunderstood.
“I meant that Ruto has to work hard for him to win the hearts of people through his work.” Kabogo said.
Ruto supported his (Kabogo) words saying it was good advice and he won’t rest until he consolidates votes from across the country.
“I thank Kabogo for the advice. I can’t sleep in my house and expect to be voted for. In fact am headed to Western Kenya for more vote hunting.”Said Ruto.
Ruto has been on the hunt for votes in most of the regions in the country.
Early this month, Kabogo was allegedly quoted telling the DP that the Mount Kenya region would not automatically support his presidential bid and that he might also be in the race for the top seat.
