Bomet Deputy Governor has accused his boss, Isaac Ruto of frustrating him by denying him his privileges in a bid to force him out of office.
Speaking to News24 Wednesday, Mutai said he has been frustrated for more than two years after he differed with the Governor over how the County should be run.
“I have not been facilitated to attend to official meetings as the deputy Governor of Bomet,” he said.
Mutai said that since he declared his interest to vie for the Governorship, his working conditions deteriorated as he was denied resources.
“I have been denied fuel for the last one month and as a result, I cannot move out and discharge my duties to the people of Bomet. The Governor’s move is unwarranted and should be condemned,” he said.
