The Churchill Show comedians will hold a special tribute for Ayeiya Poa Poa today, Thursday and give the proceeds to his family.
The comedian whose real name is Emmanuel Makori, died after his car hit a pole near the Catholic University of Eastern Africa on Magadi Road last Friday.
He will be buried in Nyansiongo, Nyamira county, alongside his grandmother who died a week ago.
The comedians will hold the special tribute at Carnivore in Nairobi from 6pm.
Members of the public can order tickets by dialing *229*29#, Daniel Ndambuki aka Churchill said on his official Twitter page.
President Uhuru Kenyatta said Kenyans will always remember Ayeiya’s signature in the entertainment industry
Deputy Governor Jonathan Mueke and other leaders also sent condolence messages.
Mueke said “Ayeiya was a master performer on stage with great young talent”.
