Meru Governor Peter Munya has reiterated that he is member of Jubilee coalition and will not leave.
Speaking at Kimunye village in Kirinyaga County, Munya said he is also a supporter of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“Am a Jubilee member and supporter. Even in my blood there are elements of Jubilee party,” Munya, who is also Council of Governors Chairman said amid cheers.
Early this year, Munya had said he will not join Jubilee party after area Senator Kiraitu Murungi declared interest in the governorship seat.
In March, Munya who was elected on Alliance Party of Kenya (APK) also said the formation of Jubilee Party ‘only targets to kill multipartism in the country’.
He also said he had already identified a political party to sponsor him in the race for governorship in 2017 and Presidency in 2022.
