Jubilee, Cord MPs Fight On Air

A TV interview was on Tuesday morning cancelled after two MPs clashed on air.

The two, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and his Kibra counterpart Ken Okoth differed sharply on air with their confrontation degenerating into a shouting match, forcing directors of the program to bring it to an abrupt end.

The two were live on the Citizen TV morning interview with Mutegi Njau.

Okoth, who is a member of the opposition accused Kuria and his TNA party which is part of the ruling coalition of waging a war against women.

Okoth claimed the government was behind the recent shooting down of the gender bill.

Kuria in a rejoinder accused Okoth of habouring venom instead of dealing with ‘slum tourism’ to set his people free.

It was at that moment that their host was forced to embarrassingly call off the interview.
