Israel Prime Minister, Benjamin apologized to Nairobians for the traffic jam his visit caused.
The PM who arrived in the country Monday evening apologized during a dinner at State House Tuesday evening, The Star reports.
His apology came even as Kenyans on Twitter re-named Waiyaki Way as Netanyahu highway due to the traffic jam experienced on the road.
Waiyaki way and University way, which lead to the hotel where Netanyahu was staying at, were closed down for security reasons.
This affected almost all roads that lead to the CBD, with some people taking as long as five hours to get to work.
Kenyans expressed their anger on social media saying they had not been informed of the closure of the roads prior, with some calling for the relocation of the prominent city hotel that has been accommodating visiting head of states to another city.
