IPOB spits fire, slams police for crackdown

Abuja – The Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) have actually blasted authorities , bawling out an order to suppression on the Biafra supporters in Delta and also Anambra States.

According to Sun News Online, IPOB spokesperson Emma Mmezu accused police boss Solomon Arase of alleging that members of the group had been armed during an anniversary clash with officials.

Mmezu rubbished claims that the clash was premeditated, while calling on police for proof to show that the plan was thought out beforehand.

“It is a shame that Solomon Arase is displaying crass incompetence and ig­norance by lying that IPOB members were armed and that they attacked Nige­rian policemen. Perhaps , he would have saved himself this embarrassment by conducting thorough investigation and checking with the CP in Anambra state,” the group said in a statement.
