South Africa, President Jacob Zuma Set To Address On ANC Gauteng Election Manifesto launch

Preesident Jacob Zuma, set to address the ANC Gauteng on election manifesto launch at the FNB stadium on Saturday.

Although Zuma’s face has really not been consisted of on placards as one of the speakers ‚ Premier David Makhura confirmed that he would definitely be the essential strong speaker.

Placards on the streets show the face of the provincial chairperson Paul Mashatile as the main speaker.

Makhura said there would be no disruptions at the event as ANC members respect party events. “We expect our ANC Gauteng 2016 provincial manifesto launch rally to be a resounding success.

“Our preparations for this rally have been meticulous‚ seamless and thoroughly consultative. All preparatory steps and precautionary measures have been taken to ensure the rally is free from any glitches‚” said Makhura.

He insisted that party supporters would fill the stadium.

“We deliberately‚ consciously and confidently chose FNB Stadium as a venue fit for hosting thousands of volunteers‚ activists and supporters‚” he said.

Makhura said the rally would be used to report on the party’s track record of achievements in the province.

“We will outline concrete and indisputable achievements on the delivery of basic services‚ massive infrastructure development‚ improving quality of governance and rapid response to the pressing multiple challenges facing the people of Gauteng.”
