According to The Star Angeline Kamatha, Bernard Gathauthau, Ambani Akasi, Julius Ochieng and Alfred Maranya were exposed on sunday.
It also noted that Akasi, Ochieng and Maranya are among askaris in police custody over the murder of city hawker Irungu Kamau on September 16, 2015.
They have been suspended with immediate effect due to misconduct.
County secretary Robert Ayisi has stated that they have since signed a memorandum with the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission to show their commitment to eradicate corruption.
Meanwhile Akasi, Ochieng and Maranya along with another county worker appeared in court last week for the murder of a hawker.
They have since been released on bond for Sh2 million.
