Abuja – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) stated investigation are proceeding in the claimed fraudulence situation of Dr Oduoma Emeka Fisch,former president of the Federal Teaching Hospital Multipurpose Cooperative Society.
Operatives of the Ibadan office of the anti-corruption agency arrested him in Ido, Ekiti for allegedly misappropriating over N70 million belonging to the cooperative.
It could not be ascertained when the alleged offences, said to be bordering on a land scam, was committed.
C“He is presently at the EFCC. The investigation is ongoing,” said Wilson Uwujaren, EFCC spokesperson.
Other people interrogated include, the family head (Odolofin) family of Odo Ado- Ekiti, Chief Adekunle Atoiki, and the ex- Chairman, Utility Committee of the Cooperative, Ogundola Ebenezer.
The Federal Teaching Hospital Multipurpose Cooperative Society is formerly the Federal Medical Centre.
