Chris Brown has been sued for allegedly assaulting a guy in a London nightclub and left him with severe injuries that required hospitalization.
According to a new lawsuit, Chris is being sued by a man named Abe Diaw, who alleges Chris smacked him over the head with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 tequila in February at the TAPE nightclub in England.
Diaw claims in the lawsuit obtained by TMZ that Chris used the tequila bottle as a weapon, pummeling Diaw over the head with “crushing blows.”
The man claims he was knocked unconscious, but that didn’t stop Chris from carrying on with the attack. He claims CB stomped on him while he was unconscious on the club floor.
Diaw claims in the documents that he was hospitalized as a result of his injuries, which included cuts on his head and torn ligaments in his leg.
Chris’ accuser claims there is surveillance video of the entire incident, which police in London have.
Diaw believes he recognizes Chris in the video and that the singer is a fugitive in the UK as a result of the alleged event.
Diaw claims he’s known Chris for at least seven years and thought Chris was coming up to hug him at the club when Brown instead allegedly struck him three times with the tequila bottle.
Diaw says his injuries may be permanent and he is suffering serious emotional distress and trauma.
He is suing Chris for damages.
