Body of suspected mob justice victim found in Cape Town

Cape Town – Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder of a man seemingly killed in a mob justice attack in Lavender Hill, Cape Town.

His burnt body was found in Fifth Avenue, Village Heights on Thursday afternoon by officers, provincial police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Andre Traut said.

The man has not been identified yet.

No arrests have been made.
