The national body of the Christ Apostolic Church has disowned a pastor who was allegedly arrested in Ondo State over fetish items.
According to Punch, Pastor Moses Abiodun was apprehended by operatives from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) after he was discovered burying fetish items inside his church in Ikota.
Kayode Balogun, PR Officer for the NSCDC, disclosed that members of the national body arrived at the corps’ Akure office to disown the clergyman in person.
The pastor has since claimed that he is not a clergyman but a prophet, and that he intended to use the items as a treat to his followers.
