DR Congo-born South African Singer, Tresor’s Car Recovered After Hijacking

After being hijacked and “held for hours” in the boot of his car in early February, singer Tresor has now confirmed that police have recovered the stolen vehicle.

In a statement released on Monday, he wrote: “Thank you all for the messages and reaching out to me post the hijacking. Your support over the past weeks has been incredible! I am happy to report that together with your help, the police have been able to recover the vehicle and arrest the suspects.”

The star also confirmed that both he and Batundi, who was with him during the ordeal, are doing well and back in studio.
