Idris Elba Planning to Reinvent Disney Classic ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’

Idris Elba is planning to “reinvent” The Hunchback of Notre Dame with his upcoming take on the Disney classic – which he will direct, produce, star in – as Quasimodo himself and produce the soundtrack for.

Idris shared that he feels very fortunate to be taking on the project, adding that execution is key.

The Yardie director’s plans for the live-action remake come after he sent Twitter into a frenzy with a cryptic tweet leading fans to believe he might actually be the next actor to play James Bond.
