Kebbi – A five-day-old child was strapped to death in Kebbi state throughout a food shuffle under the Ramadan Food Bank program of wife of the president, Aisha Buhari.
According to Leadership, the incident took place at the premises of the Kebbi state ministry of women affairs during the distribution of the food items.
The baby was said to have fallen from the back of the mother and trampled upon after a crowd rushed towards her.
The mother Aisha was said to have been carrying a 25kg bag of rice that had been given to her group by the officials.
According to a witness, the baby boy was just five-day-old and was yet to be given a name when the incident happened.
Wife of Kebbi state governor, Dr. Zainab Atiku Bagudu, according to Naij, was represented by Fadima Muhammed Bunza, the wife of Bunza local government sole administrator at the event.
