Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko is afraid of Governor Evans Kidero, an ODM leader says.
Nairobi ODM branch leader George Aladwa says that the incident in which Sonko repeatedly insulted Kidero during a Senate seating in Nairobi showed that the Senator was rattled by Kidero.
He insists that come the 2017 General Elections, the result will be more or less the same.
” It shows that some leaders are keen on causing fracas instead of facing facts,” he said.
He added that Sonko has shown very few leadership qualities to stake a claim to be Nairobi Governor.
” Sonko has been making the fewest submissions in the national assembly since he joined many years ago. That kind of person cannot be trusted to be Governor,” he added.
Sonko and Kidero were involved in a neat bust up after Sonko refereed to Kidero using a number of insulting names when the two leaders faced off during a Senate Public Accounts Committee sitting Wednesday.
