Ebenezer babatope says Muhammadu Buhari should change his governing style so that Nigerians will stop suffering the way they are suffering now.
Chief Ebenezer Babatope, currently a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, said in an interview with Vanguard, even though Buhari is making progress in some fronts, the administration should dispense the milk of human kindness in some of its seemingly harsh policies.
Babatope, also assessed the leadership issues in his party, and affirmed relief that Senator Modu Sheriff has been shown the exit as national chairman.
Babatope added, “Buhari should address his mind to the plight of the common man; the common man in Nigeria is suffering. I am telling you authoritatively, there is hunger in town and it is difficult for those at the top to know what is happening”.
Leader of the House, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, argued that one year out of four-year tenure was not enough for the government to have transformed the country, Punch reported.
The Nigerian government on Thursday asked Nigerians to be hopeful of a better future, saying “Change is no instant coffee, it is a process”.
