A first year student at the University of Nairobi (UoN) has been arrested for stabbing her boyfriend to death.
19-year-old Sheila Atema is reported to have committed the crime at their apartment in Kangemi, Nairobi on Tuesday.
The Star reports that the victim, 25-year-old Itakwa was a student at the same University who also played midfielder for National League Wazito Football Club.
According to Nairobi News, the Third Year student was killed on Wednesday morning following a short argument.
The assailant is expected to face trial soon.
