The Federal Government has announced an official date for the burial of late Minister James Ocholi along with his wife, Blessing and his son, Joshua who died in a fatal car crash along the Kaduna-Abuja highway last week.
Babachir David Lawal, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, has revealed that the three-day programme will commence today (March 16) with a special court session at the National Industrial Court in Abuja, followed by a Service of Songs at the National Christian Centre later on in the evening.
According to a statement released by the Deputy Director of Press within the Ministry, Samuel Olowookere, the bodies of the deceased will leave the National Hospital in Abuja on Thursday for another special court session at the Kogi State High Court of Justice.
The remains will then move to Abocho in Kogi State, where a Christian wake, praise worship, tributes and testimonies will take place.
The late minister, his wife and son will lie in country home in Abocho on Friday where his funeral is set to take place at 10 a.m.
The family will be laid to rest immediately after the conclusion of the funeral.
Minister Ocholi’s eldest son has since urged the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to do their utmost best to fulfill their responsibilities and discharge their services to the nation.
