Nigeria Former Flying Eagles Coach Appointed At Kwara United

Former Flying Eagles coach John Obuh has been appointed the new Technical Adviser of National League side Kwara United.

Obuh’s major assignment will be to return the Ilorin based team to the Nigeria Premier League.

Former technical crew of the club, headed by Coach Tunde Abdulrahman was dissolved together with the management team, after their dismal performance that saw the team relegate to the National League.

A statement signed by the Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Kale Ayo, says Obuh’s appointment has been approved by the state government, with the mandate to tinker the club back to the Premier League.

Obuh is also a former coach of Niger Tornadoes, Golden Eaglets, Sharks FC and Enugu Rangers.

His appointment has reunited him with the new chairman of the club, Thompson Oladimeji, as they both worked together in 2008/2009 to lead the team from the National League to the premiere league.
