Dr Tanko Yakassai has called out President Muhammadu Buhari on his anti-graft campaign, saying that the effort is mere propaganda, Naij reports.
Yakassai, Presidential liaison officer for the second administration, lamented that Buhari’s campaign has won over men such as Professor Wole Soyinka and has said that any anti-corruption drive should have a holistic perspective and not be focused on individuals.
The elderly Statesman scolded the current Government for not following valid court orders and keeping several individuals detained, more prominently, former National Security Adviser Sambo Dasuki.
Yakassai advised Buhari to extend his campaign across government tiers if he hopes to be taken seriously in future.
