A 65-year-old man in Maela village, Naivasha is being held by police for allegedly raping and impregnating his 14-year-old daughter.
According to police records, the man has for a long time been abusing his daughter sexually.
The girl who is a class eight student is currently undergoing treatment at the Naivasha sub county hospital.
Naivasha assistant County Commissioner John Opondo confirmed the incident saying that the young girl reported the matter herself.
Opondo said they are still conducting more investigations before pressing charges against the man.
