Nairobi – No two words confuse people in relationships or without more than loyalty and potential. I don’t blame you though especially if you got in there for all the wrong reasons.
This won’t even take long because it is not that complicated.
When another person is doing better, you do not leave your spouse to be with them; that is loyalty
Ambition clouds judgment. In relationships, it kills the relationship. You have been with this person for this long. They keep trying and trying and trying but it is not working out. You love them but wait; they said we cannot eat love. You see the friend and wonder what is it that they are doing better that your spouse cannot do. Why do they keep on failing? You feel a bit of resentment as you sneer. You do not approach the friend for the benefit of your partner-to find out the secret. But you are planning how you are going to move yourself a step further and be with the one that knows what they are doing.
Loyalty is when you support the one that you are with because you see them trying and that is what you chose. Not leaving to be with the one that is doing better at the moment.
Loyalty makes you stick around in the toughest times
I know you have a good heart-maybe! This is my litmus test for any couple married, trying to get married or thinking of permanence. Look at them and ask yourself, if there was any disability down the road, were not able to do some things or they could not give you what you expected of them; what would you do?
Now you know if you are loyal or not. Situations never last. Something bad can even happy the next day after the wedding-what would you do?
Loyalty makes you accept what you have no matter how bad the situation
Have you ever noticed how the minute you get into a relationship is when the devils steps up to tell you how they had feelings or how they have always wanted you. So where were you all this time?
Or it will come in a better package and better treatment with better luxuries on offer. You either accept what you have with whoever you are with now. You will work for the better together; otherwise you will be very dissatisfied with the relationship.
