Rebecca Khodragha, from Sydney south-west, Not exclusively did she trick the administration and the general population to trust that she was single, poor, battling, and in urgent requirement for help, yet she additionally figured out how to hide her husband from everyone’s eyes for 18 solid years.

Punchbowl Apartment
The couple has been residing in Punchbowl apartment, a state-owned property that they acquired in 1999 after Khodragha allegedly deceived the government that she was a struggling single mum in desperate need of welfare.
“They have not just cheated the taxpayers; they have also taken advantage of the people in real need. We cannot tolerate this kind of behaviour,” says Paul Vevers, Housing NSW spokesperson. “Currently there are over 60,000 poor people awaiting public housing.”
Investigations have since revealed that Khaled owns an electrical contracting business registered to the Punchbowl apartment. The authorities now wants them to pay for all the years they fraudulently stayed in a state-owned house without paying rent.
“We are seeking all the many thousands of dollars in rent and she will have to pay for her years at the housing commission flat,” says Vevers.
The authorities reportedly received a tip off from a member of the public who was privy to the couple’s treacheries.
