Travis Scott performed for the first time since he took the stage in November at his Astroworld festival, during which 10 people died in a crowd crush.
On Saturday, the rapper performed a short set at Darren Dzienciol and Richie Akiva’s star-studded pre-Oscars 2022 party, held at a private estate in Bel-Air.
According to TMZ, Leo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Venus and Serena Williams, Tyga, YG, Kaia Gerber, and other celebrities were in attendance.

Scott’s slow journey back to the stage comes after the rapper announced a new initiative that promises to “honour the victims of the Astroworld tragedy”.
In a statement released earlier this month, the rapper announced the launch of Project HEAL, a “multi-tier, long-term series of community-focused philanthropy and investment efforts”.
Scott’s return to the stage also comes after he was supposed to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival as a headlining act in April.
In the days following the Astroworld tragedy, a change.org petition was drawn up, demanding that the rapper be removed from the Coachella line-up.
