Last year, two major things happened in Monique’s life. She got married to her long term partner Richard Bett with whom they have a daughter with, and she also quit Hot 96.
The shocking news left many confused and shocked after a successful career on radio. Just when we thought that was the last of her in the airwaves, she had another surprise hidden in store.
Back with a show dubbed ‘ThatHoneyVoice’ it made its debut mid last month. The one hour weekly show is all about good music tailored to showcase great artists and discover new sounds for the music lover who wants a good playlist regardless of where they are in the world.
‘’Unlike conventional radio, #ThatHoneyVoice is quite unpredictable, personalized, engaging and dynamic. We have no boundaries here!’’ Monique said when asked about her new show.
Doubling as the producer and host of the radio show, she describes the experience as one of the best she has ever had.
‘’This is probably one of my best projects because we are setting trends with a new approach to radio. The audience has shown me so much love and we can only get better!’’ She said.
