A CORD MP has told Coalition leader Raila Odinga to support Moses Wetang’ula for Presidency in 2017 as a thank you for the previous support.
Kimilili MP Suleiman Murunga says that the great support offered by Luhya leaders and people in general over the years to Raila has been generous and has asked him to now give his support to Wetang’ula in 2017.
He believes that if he gets the support, Wetang’ula and Luhya people will deliver the next President of Kenya.
” It is time for Raila to show his appreciation and support Wetang’ula. We have supported him so many times over the years,” he told News24.
” The truth is that Wetang’ula is ready to be the next President and just needs the support of seasoned leaders such as Raila,” he added.
It is not yet clear who will lead CORD into the 2017 elections with a number of people still of the belief that Raila will be the main man come the time.
