Veteran British-born South African actor Ron Smerczak has passed away at the age of 70 years.
News of the actor’s death was shared by The South Africa Guild of Actors (SAGA) on Sunday.
“His love for Shakespeare, stage, TV and film defined his decades of service to the industry,” read a tweet from SAGA.

Tributes for the late actor poured in on social media, with many praising the actor for his contribution to the arts.
