Nigerian pop star, Dammy Krane seems not to be hearing the last of his brief entanglement with American law enforcement agency regarding credit card scam which he was involved in especially as despite being acquitted of all charges, his fellow nation comrades have refused to take off the “Fraudster” tag dangling from his neck like an albatross. Nigerians have wasted no time over the last months, in shading the singer continuously on his comment section and all over the Nigerian social media space with memes, comments and more.
A clearly fed up Dammy Krane has however come around a way to both address this impression of himself as well as help others who have been wrongly accused. In a video shared on the singer’s Instagram page, he employs Nigerians to join in on the 14th of December for his movement which has been tagged #TheFightAgainstCrime.
Dammy Krane also gave a bit of the information concerning his brain child movement billed to hold at the Teslim Balogun stadium in Lagos. He shared that the movement is to educate Nigerians about crime and how to stay away from crime as it appears that the average Nigerian is victimized outside the country for his “skill”. He stated this not without citing how Nigerians have continued to label him a thief, fraudster despite being freed in America. See video:

Interestingly, this did not stop the name calling and shaming which subsequently went down on his comment section. Some comments read:

“Hello sir with all due respect sir iMust say you’re an idiots if you know you are not a fraudster why will you want this movement to be on the 14 of Dec, are you maaadddddd 14th that is Mayor Of Lagos Concert iSwear you are mannerless rubbish“
Dammy Krane was arrested in Miami back in June for allegedly being involved in credit card fraud, grand theft 3rd Degree, and Identity Fraud. The singer faced at least 30 years behind bars before he was found not guilty.
