Former Nakuru town MP, David Manyara has said that CORD leader, Raila Odinga should be declared the country’s opposition leader for life because no one can ever replace him or fit in his shoes.
Manyara said that Raila should be allowed to serve as the country’s supremo opposition kingpin and remain in active politics for life.
Speaking Wednesday in Nakuru town, Manyara said that Kenyan politics will be dull and citizens oppressed without the presence of Raila.
“There is nobody in modern Kenya who can fit in Raila’s shoes as the opposition leader and I propose that he be declared the country’s life supremo and opposition leader because he deserves it,” said Manyara.
“Those who want Raila to retire from politics are wrong because without him our politics will be so dull and dead and the government will urinate on our heads,” he added.
Manyara said that if Raila does not become the President, then the best way the country can reward him is by declaring him a life opposition leader.
