President Uhuru Kenyatta Snubs Kalonzo

President Uhuru Kenyatta will snub CORD leader Kalonzo Musyoka during his visit to the Ukambani region.

The President will visit Makueni, Kitui and Machakos June 10 to 13.

But according to sources, Kalonzo is not being included in the visit which is being spearheaded by Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.

” Kalonzo is not being included in the visit,” one of the organizers told News24.

” Mutua finds him not fitting in the plans of the new Ukambani and will not invite him,” he added.

There have been several visits by leaders from the region to State House Nairobi and Kalonzo has yet to be included in even one, which he is understood not to be happy with.

” The exclusion of some leaders from the visit by the President will be counter-productive in the end,” Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo junior told News24.

” The President is bright enough to know that it will not bear him any fruit by secluding others and I hope he does not,” he added.

Kalonzo is set to continue in the CORD Coalition come the 2017 elections despite not being sure if he will get the nod to be the Presidential candidate.
