President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday met with governors elected under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The meeting, which took place inside the President’s office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, was held behind closed doors.
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo also attended the meeting.
The APC governors were led to the meeting by the Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF) who is also the governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha.
Some governors at the meeting included Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun) Yahaya Bello (Kogi),Nasir el-Rufai (Kaduna), Adams Oshiomole (Edo), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto) and Abdullahi Ganjude Kano among others.
Some state governors including Lagos and Nassarawa were represented by their deputies.
The agenda of the meeting was not made known.
