A South African man has been left distraught after receiving the news that his pregnant daughter had been stoned to death.
The 65-year-old man has relayed the devastating news, stating that his daughter was six months pregnant when she was allegedly stoned to death at the hands of her boyfriend.
According to a Daily Sun report, the man conducted a search for his daughter of Saturday and instead found her boyfriend’s house trashed and her faced smashed in.
Neighbors in the area have reported that the incident occurred when a fight broke out between the couple on their way to the house.
The father has since reported that he had attempted to convince his daughter to leave her boyfriend on various occasions but had only resulted in failure.
“He would call her and she would disappear for days. It seemed like she was scared of him but she never told me the relationship was abusive. I heard it from her friends,” the man said.
An investigation into the incident is confirmed to be underway.
