PHOTOS: Former Nigeria International Honoured By Former Club, Everton

Former Nigerian international Joseph Yobo was on Saturday, April 30 honoured by his former club, Everton.

Yobo played for Everton between July 2002 and August 2010. He was the first signing of former coach, David Moyes and became a regular under the manager.

The ex-captain of the Super Eagles has been touring Europe to invite friends and former teammates to his testimonial game which will hold on Friday, May 27.

He visited Goodison Park where he once called home and was introduced to the Everton fans at half time.

Everton fans gave their former defender a thunderous applause when he was introduced at half time of their clash against Bournemouth.

Yobo shared some photos from his visit to the Goodison Park. He posted photos of himself with Everton defender, Phil Jagielka, club chairman, Bill Kenwright, veteran goalkeeper Tim Howard and other staff of the club.

He earlier visited his former Super Eagles teammate John Obi Mikel at Chelsea. He also ran into John Terry at the meeting.
