A dramatic incident has played out in a church after a wife caught her husband wedding another woman inside the church without her consent.
The wedding could no longer hold because of the fight caused by the man’s other wife
An epic drama played out at Pedi in the Brong Ahafo region when a woman stormed a marriage ceremony with her relations to stop her husband from marrying another woman, AdomOnline reports.
According to the report, the woman whose name was only given as Boatemaa scattered the wedding before the Pastor could pronounce her husband and his lover as “husband and wife”
.
It was gathered that the angry woman stormed the church when he was about exchanging marital vows with the new woman and head butted her husband which led to the suspension of the marriage proceedings.
Eyewitnesses revealed that the incident resulted in a serious fight as relatives of the new bride attacked Boatemaa and tore her clothes to shreds.
As the fight continued, the shocked man sat down dazed in one corner of the church and observed the whole drama playing out before him.
Sister of the scorned woman in an interview with Anidaso FM’s Alhaji Gausi said the man has betrayed her sister.
She indicated that, the man had left his family to secretly marry a new bride at Pedi in the Jaman South district, Ghana.
“My sister was having problems with her in-laws so her husband asked her to come live with our mother while he looks for a new accommodation only to be told he is getting married at Pedi” he fumed.
The livid woman added that, though they have managed to disrupt the wedding, they will still invoke curses on the man for desecrating their marriage.
